Introduction | Aminophenazone (or aminopyrine) is a pyrazolone with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties but has risk of agranulocytosis.White or almost white crystalline powder; odorless, slightly bitter taste; case of light variable quality; aqueous solution alkaline reaction. |
Application | Aminophenazone (or aminopyrine) is a pyrazolone with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties but has risk of agranulocytosis. A breath test with 13C-labeled aminopyrine has been used as a non-invasive measure of cytochrome P-450 metabolic activity in liver function tests.
Aminopyrine as antipyretic analgesic anti-inflammatory drug pyrazole ketones, inhibit the synthesis of prostaglandin E1 in the front of the hypothalamus neurons and release, to restore the normal reaction of the temperature regulating center feeling neurons and antifebrile effect; Amidopyrine also inhibit inflammation in local tissue of prostaglandin synthesis and release, stabilize lysosomal membrane, influence the phagocytosis of phagocytic cells, and have anti-inflammatory effect. |
