Dapoxetine, chemically known as (S) – (+) -N, n-dimethyl-3 – (neji-1-oxyl) -1-amphetamine, is a novel serotonin reuptake inhibitor. It is a water-soluble white or off-white powder, and its chemical structure is similar to that of the antidepressant fluoxetine. It is the only serotonin reuptake inhibitor without halogen atoms. |
