Introduction |
Famotidine is the third generation H2 receptor antagonist, which has high affinity to H2 receptor and has obvious inhibitory effect on gastric acid secretion. White to yellowish white crystal, odorless, slightly bitter taste |
Application |
Histamine H2 receptor antagonist, selective, can inhibit gastric acid secretion for a long time. The effect is stronger, the maintenance time is longer, the safety range is wide, and there is no anti-androgen and interference drug metabolism enzymes. Its antagonistic effect was more than 30 times that of cimetidine and 14 times that of ranitidine. The dose is only 1/20 of cimetidine and 1/7 of ranitidine. Used for peptic ulcer disease, gastric and duodenal ulcer, reflux esophagitis, upper gastrointestinal bleeding, etc. |
